  2. What experience do they have in setting up remote office connectivity?
  3. Does their proposal/contract clearly state that you will receive a copy of legal/licensed software with original media and manuals for all your computers?
  4. Ask them what services they will install, setup, and configure on your file server as part of the contract. If you only compare price and do not analyze what will be provided you run an very great risk of being like an individual who purchases a new car without a battery, wheels, seats, carpeting, radio, etc. This truly is an area where you sorely need the expertise and assistance of a network consultant, because it is highly unlikely that you even know which of the following services you will require...(DNS, WINS, DHCP, Active Directory, Print Services, UPS, Terminal Services, POP3 email, Exchange, firewall, VPN, etc.)
